Types of Overtime

In IceHrm, you can either:
1. Let employees apply for overtime requests
2. Calculate overtime using attendance records

IceHrm considers 8 hours a working day and if an employee works more than 8 hours, it will be considered as overtime.

If you want to change the overtime start hour, go to System -> Settings -> Attendance -> Attendance: Overtime Start Hour and change the number according to your organization’s requirements.
