Upgrade IceHrm #

Updating  IceHrm Installation with the icehrm-updater #

  1. Navigate to the root directory where icehrm is installed (e.g: `cd /var/www/icehrm`)
  2. Run `npm install -g icehrm-update`
  3. If you get an error due to not having Node.js installed use instructions in Node.js download page to install it first.
  4. Then run `icehrm-update`

If you are an IceHrmPro please backup and delete icehrm/extensions directory before updating to the latest version. All the users with active IceHrmPro licenses will be entitled to download and install all the current paid modules for free.

Manually Updating IceHrm #

Thisis not recommended, but if there is any issues updating using the `icehrm-update` tool you can upgrade IceHrm manually.

  • Download IceHrmPro update file here: https://icehrm-public.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/upgrades/latest/icehrm.zip
  • Extract the file.
  • Delete the icehrm/core and icehrm/web directory of the IceHrm installation.
  • Copy all the content inside icehrm/app directory in the extracted file into the icehrm/app directory in your installation.
  • Copy all the content inside icehrm/extensions directory in the extracted file into the icehrm/extension directory in your installation.

Connecting your Installtion to IceHrm.com #

Starting from IceHrm v35 you can connect your IceHrm installtion to your IceHrm.com account. This allows you purchase and install extension directly from IceHrm UI.

In your IceHrm, visit Marketplace -> Extensions. Then click “Connect to IceHrm” button.

If you already have an IceHrm.com account login to it. If not you can create a new IceHrm account during the connection process.

After the connection is created, you can proceed to purchase additional extension you neeed from: https://icehrm.com/buy-icehrm-modules. Any extension purchased under the email you’ve used to connect IceHrm installtion to IceHrm.com will be available under Marketplace -> Extensions -> My Purchases tab.

This should show a list of extensions you’ve purchased. From this section you may install extensions.
