Enabling Multilevel Approval For Overtime Requests in IceHrm

To enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of the process of managing overtime requests, IceHrm offers a powerful feature: Multilevel Approval for Overtime Requests. This feature allows organizations to establish a structured workflow where overtime requests are reviewed and approved by multiple levels of authority, ensuring transparency and adherence to internal policies.

First, go to Employees and make sure you have defined the correct reporting structure for each employee as shown below:

Once the reporting structure for all the employees are correctly defined, go to System -> Settings -> Other tab and search for the overtime settings as shown below:

Now enable the Overtime:Enable Multi Level Approvals setting. Since this setting is enabled now, when an employee adds an overtime request, supervisors and the other approvers will have the ability to go through the overtime request and either approve or reject the request.
