Food Server Job Description

The server is responsible for taking food and beverage orders, relaying those orders to the kitchen staff, and then delivering the food and beverages to customers. The waiter/waiter communicates with customers, answers questions, and ensures that each table is properly served. Often the Food Server will be dealing with multiple tables, guests and orders at the same time, so the ability to multitask and keep up in a fast-paced work environment is a must – all with a positive attitude and friendly manners.
