Viewing Leave Balances
Everyone can see leave balances — employees see their own, and HR sees everyone's.
An employee's own balance
In the Leave area, under Personal > Leave, the Leave Entitlement tab is the first thing employees see. It shows a card for each leave type they're eligible for.

Each card leads with the Available balance — the days they can still take right now — next to a bar that splits the entitlement into what's been taken, what's pending a decision, and what's still available. Small labels below call out anything else worth knowing:
- Adjustment — any manual adjustment (plus or minus).
- Still to accrue this period — days that will build up later in the period, for leave types that accrue gradually.
- Carried-forward expiry — when carried-over days will lapse, if applicable.
- Running low / None left — a nudge when the balance is nearly or fully used.
The How is this calculated? link on each card shows the full working — see How leave is calculated.
Apply straight from a card: every card has an Apply button that opens the leave request form with that leave type already filled in.
The company leave calendar
Under Personal > Leave Calendar, everyone can see who is away and when, by month or by year. It's the quickest way to spot clashes before approving a request.

The full list for HR
Admins can see and manage every employee's leave from Leave > Leave (the Manage section) on the Employee Leave List tab — see Requesting and approving leave.
