Asset Management

Manage company assets and track their assignment to employees in IceHrm.

Overview​

IceHrm's Asset Management module allows you to:

  • Define asset types with custom fields specific to each type
  • Create and track company assets
  • Assign assets to employees
  • Monitor asset status (Available, Assigned, In Repair)
  • Track purchase details and warranty information

Getting Started​

To effectively manage company assets, follow this workflow:

  1. Create Asset Types - Define categories of assets (e.g., Cars, Laptops, Phones) with custom fields relevant to each type
  2. Add Company Assets - Create individual assets and assign them to the appropriate asset type
  3. Assign to Employees - Track which employees have which assets assigned to them

Accessing Asset Management​

  1. Log in to IceHrm as an administrator.
  2. Use the area switcher at the top of the left sidebar and choose Company Setup, then click Company Assets.
  3. Use the two tabs to switch between Company Assets (the items) and Asset Types (their categories).
