Booking an Interview with a Candidate

IceHrm allows you to schedule interviews with candidates and automatically notify hiring managers and interviewers.


How to Book an Interview

Step 1: Access the Candidate Profile

  1. Go to Recruitment > Candidates

  2. Find the candidate you want to interview

  3. Click the View option to open their profile

Step 2: Schedule the Interview

  1. Click Schedule an Interview from the candidate's profile

Schedule Interview

  1. Fill in the required fields:

NotesAdditional instructions or information
  1. Click Save

Email Notifications

Once an interview is scheduled, the system automatically sends email notifications to:

Best Practices

  1. Schedule Promptly - Book interviews soon after shortlisting candidates
  2. Provide Details - Include all relevant information in the notes
  3. Check Availability - Ensure interviewers are available before scheduling
  4. Include Location - Add physical address or video conference link
  5. Follow Up - Track interview status and collect feedback afterward
