Payslip Design

Before creating a payroll, you need to decide what information should be displayed on your company's payslips. This is configured under the Payslip Design tab.


Getting Started

The best approach is to find an existing payslip from your company and recreate a similar design in IceHrm.

Start Simple

You don't need to include all payslip fields right away. Even basic fields like salary and total are enough to get started. You can add more fields later as needed.


Using a Starter Template

If you prefer, you can start with a pre-built starter template and customize it later after defining your payroll details.

  1. Go to Admin > Payroll > Payslip Design

  2. Select a starter template

  3. Customize the fields as needed

  4. Save your design

Best Practices

  1. Start Simple - Begin with essential fields and add more over time
  2. Match Existing Format - Use your current payslip as a reference
  3. Review Before Use - Preview the design before generating payslips
  4. Update as Needed - Modify the design when payroll requirements change
