Employee assistance program (EAP)

A business-funded program that provides free, confidential and professional advice on work-related and non-work-related issues. These may include problems caused by emotional and psychological stress, divorce or separation, work pressure, financial barriers, or any other form of problems affecting work and morale. Money spent on EAP services can return three times or more of the lost time avoided.
