How to Change the Visibility of A Company Document<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can decide who has access to a particular company document with the sharing feature in the Documents module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To upload a company document, go to Manage -> Company Documents.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want all the employees to see a particular company document, keep the\u00a0Share Departments<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Share Employees<\/strong>\u00a0fields\u00a0empty,<\/strong>\u00a0as shown below:<\/p>\n\n\n

Now let us see how we can share a company document with either specific departments or specific employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that IceHrm<\/a> does not allow you to add a company document if you have values for both Share Departments field and Share Employees field. So make sure only one field has any values.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharing a Company Document with Specific Departments<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Suppose you want to share the above document with the marketing department and the engineering department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The settings for the above requirement should look like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now all the employees attached to the Marketing department and the Engineering department will be able to view this company document by going to Documents -> My Documents -> Company Documents.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharing a Company Document with Specific Employees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Now let us see how you can share a company document to only two specific employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
