Using IceHrm you can add various types of leave types to match your leave policy. When defining a leave type, you can either let your employee apply for it or your admin assign leave requests for employees, or even both. When an employee applies wants to apply for a time off request , the employee should select the leave type, and number of days and then submit their leave request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With IceHrm you can define your own multi-level approval structure for each employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once an employee applies for a leave request, the supervisor will be notified and can approve the leave request. Once the supervisor approves the leave request, the first-level approver will have the ability to approve the leave request and the process continues. You can add up to three approvers for each employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IceHrm lets you create different leave types depending on your company’s leave policy. You can decide if the leaves will be carried forward to the next leave period, what the maximum leave amount is and if leaves should be accrued, and so on. Once you have defined the leave types, IceHrm will take care of all the leave calculations such as leave accrual. Leave groups<\/a> can be created if you have different leave policies for different groups of employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can use the Leave Rules feature<\/a> to make exceptions for employees depending on their experience, job title, and so on. Leave rules will override a leave type’s original rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n IceHrm PTO tracking feature can be extremely useful if you want to compensate an employee with paid time off. Apart from that, PTO comes in handy to help you balance previous leave balances if you have just started using IceHrm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This also serves as a way of adjusting leave balances when employees are moved between different leave groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Employees will be able to see all their leave entitlement for each and every leave type separately. The leave entitlement will display information about the remaining leave balance, approved leave requests, and so on.
